The June Praise Corner

Yonatan Bazuk

This month, the Technological Leadership Development Center has chosen Yonatan Bazuk, a 7th grade student in the democratic school- “Lev Hasharon” in Netanya for our June Praise Corner.

Yonatan is in his first year at the Technological Leadership Development program.
A few weeks ago, Yonatan, along with the other children in his group, learned for the first time about object clashes. They built their first application, which identifies clashes between objects. At the end of the first lesson on the subject, Yonatan already had a few ideas for some games. Yonatan chose to create a maze, in which the purpose is to bring together two circles in different colors, while you go through the maze.
Yonatan succeeded in applying his idea and created a fantastic game!
Yonatan told us about his experience: “Due to my studies with Itay, I have the tools to develop applications and ideas that I think about, and it’s really fun.”

We are very pround of Yonatan and his peers. It is precisely moments like this one that proof that coding is something that can be taught to children. Moreover, that children and their ideas are the future!
